Kara Kibbie
Clinic and TMS Coordinator

Kara Kibbie assists with several responsibilities at Integrative Psychiatry and has worked with Macy Kasperbauer, PMHNP, since 2012. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, she worked directly with children and held a direct supervisor role at Behaven Kids for 5 years. Kara later assumed a role in psychiatric services at Behaven Kids and worked as the medical assistant and billing coordinator until April 2020 when she transitioned to Integrative Psychiatry.

Since then, Kara became the Clinic Coordinator, and plays several key roles in providing support to both patients, families and clinicians. She provides ongoing support to patients by assisting with medication refills, answering medical questions and completing prior authorizations, as well as tending to any insurance and billing concerns - as she knows how challenging this can be for our families. For our clinicians, she maintains all insurance contracting, provider credentialing, and manages claims submission and billing on a daily basis. With an empathetic approach, Kara consistently creates a safe and respectful environment to meet our patients' needs and plays such a pivotal role to our clinic and to our overall team.
In early 2025, Kara traveled to North Carolina to become a certified TMS (Trans-cranial Magnetic Stimulation) Coordinator and treater, which has expanded her role even further at Integrative Psychiatry. In this position, she provides TMS consultations, obtains insurance preauthorizations, and provides support and encouragement to patients throughout the course of their daily treatments. She provides such a warm and inviting atmosphere to each and every experience and has truly enjoyed watching patients succeed and progress in their mental health journey by saying "yes" to TMS.
When she is not working, Kara enjoys cooking, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and sweet dog Nova.
